WELCOME TO THE

FUN DAY

13 November 2003

We started the day with a junior and senior quiz. These were great fun especially the kookaburra calls.

We regularly applied suncream to protect our skin.

The blindfold game in the grove tested our senses. We were blind aliens and we had to find a coil of rope, attract our team mates by clapping. Then we had to use the rope to make a square to signal our mother ship.

The monster skis required coordinated team work and lots of giggles. We had to cross a pit of oil without falling in.

We had to work out a way to get out of this roped off area without touching the electric fence. This took a lot of thought and teamwork. One group used the stick they had to make a step for team members to use to climb over the fence.

The boys had to hang on to the girls to get through this problem. Each group had nine mats for a team of ten to cross a lava pit. If you touched the lava you lost a mat.

Another task requiring thinking and teamwork. We had to cross quicksand using four bricks and two boards.

After the hard work in the morning the sausage sizzle was very welcome.

The P & C did a great job cooking our lunch.

We had an icecream for sweets and it was tasty wasn't it Kennah.

The Warriuka team had lots of fun games for us to play. Their rubber chooks were very popular.
