Ihave included some of my school work from this year for you to look at if you would like to.
The sides are Green and Gold. I'm in Green. It started pretty close but then Gold took the lead. It was like that for the rest of the carnival.
Gold has won it for the last four years, including the one last week, but Green won it for twelve years in a row once!
We bought eleven Sony Playstation games. We also went sea conoeing. That was the best thing on the holiday.
At the hotel I was exercising on a treadmill when I slipped and injured my self.
It was better than last time we went.
The schools who competed in the carnival were: Hope Valley(our school), Jarradale and Oakford.
The people who won medals for our school were: Chad, gold, Colin, bronze, Kate , bronze, Tegan, silver, Harry, gold, Derek, gold,Sarah, gold, Michel , bronze, Melissa, silver and Lewis bronze.
We started off good in the jumps and then the 400, 200 and 100 metre races were on. We did well in the 400 metre but we didn't go as well in the 200 metre. The 100 metre races belonged to Jarrahdale and we also did reasonably well at them.
The rest of the afternoon was highly competitive. In the flag race our A team won. In the passball our A and B team got first and second. We did good in the leader ball as well.
At the presentation of medals they announced the winner, Jarrahdale, but we won the senior shield and out of the three we came third.We were the smallest school there.
Our group went with Mr Briggs and the other group went with Mrs S.
First we looked at the snakes and then we saw the Australian wetlands. After that we looked at the Australian outback track. It was time for lunch. Then we looked at the Monkeys, BIG cats, Nocturnal house and the African savannah.
Then it was time to go back to school. We had a very enjoyable time.
We've been practising for presentation night for over six weeks. The music teacher, who is running the play, still hasn't decided who's going to get the part of the narrator, out of me and this other girl, Emma, but the part is supposed to be a boy so I think I should get it.
After the presentation night, the next day, some of our class are going on a camp down south for four days.
In the eight years I've been here, at this school, I've learnt a lot of things and I've had a very good time.

In 1999 hopefully I'll be a great football player. I'll be in year 8, in high school, and I'll have my older brother there as well, he's in year 9, and I'm looking forward to going. The name of the high school is Kolbe Catholic College, it's a private school. I'll also be watching Collingwood in the AFL as well.
It's near the end of the year and Presentation night is next Monday.
